Maison / Campagne - 4/22/26

Coinciding with Milan Design Week, the second chapter of ARMANI/Archivio opens at the Giorgio Armani boutique in Via Sant’Andrea 9.

Launched in 2025 to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of Giorgio Armani, ARMANI/Archivio is a project conceived to preserve and enhance the brand’s heritage. It is an interactive platform that collects and organizes historic collections, offering an experience that merges heritage and innovation. Now, for the first time, thirteen men’s and women’s looks from the Giorgio Armani collections spanning 1979 to 1994 have been faithfully reproduced and made available for sale in stores.

Selected for their enduring relevance, these garments are emblematic of a stylistic journey that has evolved in a coherent and continuous way over the years. The selection revolves around the jacket, in the forms designed by Giorgio Armani, and represents a bridge between past and future, offering new generations the opportunity to rediscover the essence of the brand through the principle of circularity summed up in the concept Past Perfect. Future Ready.

For the occasion, in the Giorgio Armani boutique on Via Sant’Andrea, a bespoke installation designed by Milan-based studio NM3 will host a series of invitation-only talks with leading figures from the worlds of collecting, archiving and heritage —creating an immersive experience that weaves together fashion and culture.

The advertising campaign for this second chapter, photographed and styled by creative director and designer Eli Russell Linnetz, highlights garments that naturally follow the lines of the body and interpret the brand’s values through a contemporary lens. The images recall the brand’s early campaigns and capturing their vintage essence. The atmosphere is spontaneous and authentic,
conveying a timeless style, both in attitude and in dress.

The looks will be available on armani.com as well as in select Giorgio Armani boutiques and at APROPOS Berlino, Just One Eye Los Angeles and MyTheresa.com.
