Following the 2021 debut of its first Marais boutique, Courrèges inaugurates its second store in the heart of Paris at 27, rue des Francs-Bourgeois. This new location is both a satellite and an evolution of the historic François 1er address. This 235 m2 space celebrates the diverse community that defines the Marais district - a combination of historical landmarks, art venues and queer underground, the Marais embodies the contrasting identities of Parisian life and of Nicolas Di Felice’s Courrèges.

Belgian architect Bernard Dubois was behind the design of the heigh-ceilinged space which he conceived in accordance with legacy codes and Di Felice’s post-modern approach. Arched alcoves, white flooring, mirrored walls and club-inspired spotlights are the unmistakable features of a “New Courrèges“ interior. The layout of the Francs-Bourgeois space is articulated around an elongated gallery that opens onto rounded corners that are covered in mirrors, with one specially dedicated to accessories. Integrated shelving and furniture are a continuation of the vocabulary used in the New York store, complementing the codes established in previous Paris projects. In the spirit of House symmetry, both men’s and women’s collections take centerstage, invigorating Courrèges’ commitment to a universal wardrobe.

The inauguration of this key Courrèges space will take place during men’s fashion week on June, 20th. Iconic photographer Mark Borthwick will be signing exclusive prints of outtakes of the SS25 men’s collection and women’s pre-collection shoot for the House to commemorate the occasion.
