Two heritage houses, BIRKENSTOCK and Repetto unite to revisit iconic styles in a collaboration that fuses purposeful design with the elegance of ballet.
The collection presents three silhouettes, each reinterpreted through Repetto's refined lens. The iconic Arizona sandal appears with exclusive oversized round buckles, lending a sculptural touch to the classic design. The Scala takes shape with a round toe, two delicate top straps, and a graceful laced bow, embodying a daring edge. Completing the trio, the Opéra sabot style is adorned with long, fluid laces that wrap gently around the ankle like a dancer's ribbon.
All styles are offered in European sizes 35 to 42 and come in three emblematic Repetto shades. Iconic Pink captures elegance, lightness, and the spirit of dance. Flame Red conveys strength, passion, and a vibrant connection to the city. Profound Black evokes timeless sophistication.
The collection is unified by a Vichy-check footbed lining — a Repetto signature motif and a symbol of effortless Parisian chic.
What unites both houses is a shared sense of purpose. BIRKENSTOCK, whose historical roots in shoemaking trace back to 1774, revolutionized footwear with its anatomically shaped footbed and has remained committed to foot health and well-being ever since.
Repetto founded in 1947, within the poetic and demanding world of ballet, has created the first ever ballerina to support movement with grace and absolute lightness. From its beginnings as a ballet atelier, the house has evolved into a symbol of French craftsmanship, with a universe anchored in artistry, refinement, and innovation.
BIRKENSTOCK 1774 — the brand's Paris-based special projects and collaborations unit -and Repetto came together in the French capital to envision the collection, brought to life through production in BIRKENSTOCK's German workshops.
The BIRKENSTOCK x Repetto collection will launch in July 16, 2026 on 1774.com, through Repetto's own channels, and at selected retailers worldwide.
