Nearly 9,000 looks debuted on the Spring/Summer 2025 runways in New York, London, and Milan—a staggering figure for industry insiders to analyze in search of emerging trends. Paris-based fashion search engine Tagwalk simplified the task with its AI-powered Trends Dashboard, described by CEO Alexandra Van Houtte as “an unbiased platform that delivers actionable data.” Launched in December 2024, the tool analyzes tags on more than 400,000 images across 1,000 brands, plus an archive of 100,000 industry searches, to forecast trending colors, materials, and themes up to a year in advance. The end result? Sharper predictions, and the potential to minimize overproduction.
