For Fall 2024, Ralph Lauren pays homage to his hometown of New York City in presenting ‘Ralph’s New York’, a campaign that celebrates a timeless style rooted in authenticity, classic sophistication, and a love for things that get better with age – much like the city itself.
From the dynamic energy of the streets, the allure of the skylines, and the seamless fusion of tradition and cutting-edge style, it is this spirit that inspires the Polo Ralph Lauren 2024 fall collections.
“I have always been inspired by New York City. It’s a place of beautiful contradictions, of timelessness, magic, luxury, and aspiration.
It has a culture and style all its own. It’s my city—where I first started, where dreams are made and come true.
There is no other city like it in the world,” said Ralph Lauren, executive chairman and chief creative officer of Ralph Lauren Corporation.
Photographed by Lachlan Bailey with film produced by Jacob Sutton, the campaign features women, men and children in an array of cityscapes that capture the essence of fall in New York.
Ralph Lauren’s vision of timeless style is portrayed through looks from Polo Ralph Lauren, highlighting iconic pieces from the brand that have stood the test of time.
From the Camel Polo coat, the RL 67 herringbone jacket, cashmere cable knit sweaters, and a leather bomber jacket sporting the New York Yankees logo made in partnership with MLB, each look reimagines these classics with distinct styling to express a unique perspective and tell the story of the individual who wears them.
Echoing this sentiment, the soundtrack of the campaign film features a special rendition of Billy Joel’s iconic “New York State of Mind”, made new in the voice of fellow New York native, Alicia Keys.
Launching on August 20th, 2024, the ‘Ralph’s New York’ campaign will be featured across global print and digital outlets, as well as on the Ralph Lauren digital platforms.
