Collaborazione / Casa - 7/12/21
For the Haute Couture 2021-22 Fall/Winter Collection, Jean Paul Gaultier turned the keys of the couture atelier over to Chitose Abe, designer of the Japanese brand Sacai.
To complement her collaboration, Chitose Abe has invited Pierre Hardy, a long-time partner, to design the shoes for the show.
The overstitched, padded, laced sandals boots and thigh-high boots are inspired by the iconic corsets and are declined in the materials of the collection on heels and triple soles XXL wedges.
“I am very pleased to have worked with Chitose on the Gaultier x Sacai haute couture fashion show. We couldn't imagine a better collaboration. I am really proud of the shoes of the show.” Pierre Hardy
