Max Mara Pop Up At Samaritaine

From November 8th to February 3rd , the storied Grand Magasin is the location of a very special Pop Up presenting Max Mara Fall-Winter 2024 and an exclusive curation of Resort 2025.

The central visual element harmonising windows and retail space is a dramatic sculptural tassel. A pivotal motif of the Max Mara Resort 2025 Collection, luxuriously outsized tassels became instant must-haves defining waists and fastening sweeping coats.

Presented in Venice at Palazzo Ducale, the opulent collection celebrates the magical and multicultural world of Marco Polo. 

Decades of adventuring across the globe, trading commodities such as cashmere and precious textiles along the Silk Route, gave rise to a cultural crossroads between east and west; a lavish cultural exchange that is recalled in highlights of the collection such as the stately coats, the silks in nuanced shades like those Polo might have brought back from Cathay or Constantinople and the Buta patterns featuring stylised floral sprays.

For the Max Mara’s Samaritaine Pop Up the tassel is re-visited as a unique botanical element. Visitors will enter enchanting Oriental gardens where flowers and leaves of different scale, macro and micro, are arranged, here dancing elegantly, there rising like sculpture.

The Pop-Up, located in the Floor -1 Atrium, also showcases Max Mara's iconic coats, chic accessories, refined knitwear, and the iconic Whitney bag, crafted in five exclusive colors for the occasion.
