Twenty years after the opening of its first Parisian store, Sessùn is inaugurating its new flagship in the heart of the capital, in the vibrant Montorgueil district. Located at 11 rue Bachaumont, near Place des Victoires, this space of over 200 m² embodies the uniqueness of Sessùn: authentic, warm, and distinctive.
This new space highlights the world of Sessùn, as well as the community of artists and craftsmen who accompany its journey. A true hub of exchanges, it offers, for the first time in Paris, a complete range of Sessùn collections, along with a selection of handcrafted objects and a bookstore area.
Designed by the Cobalto Studio architecture firm, the space is inspired by the Greek agora, reinterpreting the symbolism of this place of life and sharing to offer an immersive and inspiring experience. Combining traditional materials and contemporary design, every detail has been thought out to create a unique atmosphere.
Sessùn continues to support contemporary creation by collaborating with talented artisans like Kautar Larif, Sara Regal, and Audrey Guimard, who have created exclusive pieces for the store's decor. The agora will regularly host workshops, conferences, and exhibitions, reinforcing the cultural purpose of the space.
Kautar Larif
Influenced by masters like Gaudí, Miró, and Adnan, Kautar Larif has developed a unique style blending tradition and modernity. Her recent creation for the Paris flagship perfectly demonstrates her ability to merge vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and cultural heritage. This project illustrates Kautar's skill in transforming ideas into harmonious and inspiring works of art.
Sara Regal
Sara Regal, a designer focused on sustainable practices, stands out for her innovative approach to design. For the new Paris flagship, she created a series of pieces ("Piece 6, Piece 9, Piece 13") from wood fibers and cork, sourced from insulation waste. These unique creations, blending traditional materials and organic pigments, reflect her commitment to ethical and experimental design.
Audrey Guimard
Audrey Guimard, a self-taught sculptor fascinated by stone, grew up surrounded by this material in the mountains, profoundly influencing her career. For Sessùn Paris Bachaumont, Audrey imagined a series of unique sculptures, ranging from seating to totems and smaller pieces. Inspired by Sessùn's luminous and refined world, she created works that interact with each other, paying homage to natural materials and craftsmanship while respecting the brand's timeless aesthetic.
Sessùn and Curation
For its Parisian flagship at rue Bachaumont, Sessùn has also gathered a curated selection of objects from artisans and artists. These unique creations, available for purchase, illustrate Sessùn's commitment to highlighting beauty and promoting craftsmanship. Among them are Pascale Zintzen, Mano Mani, Apollonie Céramique, Laura Greindl from Atelier 365, Franca Atelier, Eloi Schultz, Chloé Isaac, Guylène Galantine, Lucia Mondadori, Léa Baldassari, Mulier Studio, Tom & Folks, Caroline Cutaia, Atelier Sao, Astérisque, Gresceramics, Chose Commune, Guillaume Thireau, Benjamin Fely, and Tanti Ceramics.
This curation reflects Sessùn's deep desire to support and accompany creators while showcasing the brand's unique identity. It particularly illustrates one of the company's missions, which has been certified as BCORP since 2024 and became a "Mission-driven Company" in 2023: to promote craftsmanship, artistic trades, and textile expertise.
