New products - 4/10/26

A subtle tension emerges between structure and softness, control and ease.

With this new line, Alaïa approaches denim as a second skin, a material that holds, shapes, and follows every curve, embracing the body with precision and sensuality.

The waist is defined, the hips are sculpted, the silhouette comes alive.

Developed over the course of one year of research and refinement, each piece reflects an exacting approach to construction, where purity and simplicity converge towards a singular idea : the perfect fit.

Rooted in the House’s enduring vision of femininity, this line proposes six essential shapes : Bootcut, Palazzo, Fit and Flare, Round, Skinny, and Straight, designed for all bodies, each defined by exceptional craftsmanship.

Made in Japan, the denim is crafted through a precise and authentic approach to fabrication. Indigo is rope-dyed to achieve depth and permanence, while each treatment — hand-washing, over-dyeing, shaving, laser work — reveals a balance between technical mastery and sculptural intent.

Denim is approached here as a material of time. Each piece is not only designed to be worn, but to be lived in, to acquire a singular patina shaped by movement, gesture, and repetition. Photographed by Sam Rock on long-time friend of the House Mona Tougaard, the Alaïa Denim line launched on April 7 exclusively across Alaïa’s retail network.

Bootcut

In deep-sea blue denim, the line holds close before releasing from the knee, in a measured flare. Curved pockets trace the front, patch pockets anchor the back, for a cut that sublimates and elongates the silhouette.

Fit and Flare

In sand-washed denim, the ankle-length trousers are held close, then released at the hem. The epitome of a sleek fit.

Palazzo

In dock blue denim, the architecture of this style is wide and fluid, extending the leg into a long, continuous volume. The lines move with the body, combining ease with sculptural precision.

Round

The rounded and structured silhouette of this hand-sanded denim pants is a staple of Alaïa’s vocabulary : the curve. An arched construction, almost architectural, with a maxi length that allows the volume to fully assert itself in space.

Skinny

In light dock blue denim, the silhouette draws close, almost embracing the body. A nod to Alaïa’s idea of second skin. The fit is precise and uninterrupted, with an ankle length that sharpens the outline.

Straight

Cut in vintage blue denim, the structure falls from the hip without interruption. Direct, pure, timeless. Curved front pockets and patch pockets at the back articulate a construction reduced to its essence.
